This month, April hosts Stevenson Everett and special guest Chelsey Stallings at NBS Live at 1865 Club. If you ever attended a house concert in our basement, this is as close as it comes - but with speciality cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Nashville’s coolest hidden speakeasy/listening room, 1865 Club. Show starts at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm and show is free but a reservation on 1865 Club site (or Resy app) is required. Reserve for earlier than 7pm and plan to be there by 7pm and stay until 9pm.

Christen Ball is bringing NBS artist April Kry and phenom Kyndle Wylde to her full band, monthly songwriters series at Living Waters Brewing in East Nashville. NBS is a regular attendee at these shows and our patrons have stepped up and offered to sponsor this show. Thank you Christen for the opportunity. This same trio played our show earlier this month and when you put them with a full band - look out!! Free show and we will ask for tips to pay the artists and band, if you are so inclined.

Join us for an amazing evening of live music with a unique performance by The Woods trio, Raquel Cole, Dan O’Rourke and Leland Rooney. They will be joined in the round by legendary fiddler Joe Spivey. Turk McNamara, April Kry and a few other suprises are in the works! You know by now that these shows sell out and we always bring unannounced special guests to create something special. This one is going to be one for the ages!

April welcomes Memphis soul artist, Kyndle Wylde, for our monthly NBS Live show at 1865 Club. Kyndle won the CBS Mornings mixtape promo song contest in 2024. She toured with Postmodern Jukebox and released her self-titled debut EP in 2025. They will be joined by rocker, Christen Ball. Free show but should make reservations on RESY for 6:30pm-7:00pm for the 7pm show. This is a 21+ club - and a really cool speakeasy.

NBS returns to The Listening Room Cafe, a truly iconic venue in Nashville and the best place for locals, tourists and groups to experience a Nashville writers round. We are pairing our showstoppers Kayley Bishop and Lauren Mascitti with amazing recording artist, Ryan Kinder, and special guest Chris Walters on keys. This is a big one ya’ll - so big we had to move it to a Thursday. Peytan Porter and Aaron Raitiere have played stadiums with Tim McGraw, Ella Langley and ‘others'. Peytan’s “Therapy” and “Queen of Apalachia” are crushers. Aaron (Go Turtles) has won a Grammy for his songs on “A Star is Born” and swept last years CMAs in almost all song categories for “You Look Like You Love Me”. They will be accompanied by the amazing hall of famer, Joe Spivey and Turk McNamara will join the round!

Tickets go on sale February 13 in a presale to NBS Patrons and ticket buyers for our February 18 show at Turk’s. Public tickets (if any remain) go on sale on February 18 at midnight.

Join Lauren Mascitti and her all-star band as she continues her six show 2026 residency at The Station Inn, sponsored by NBS and our wonderful VIP Patrons! Tickets are cash at the door starting at 7pm day of show. Show starts at 9pm.

NBS is working with Franklin Theatre to bring young independent artists to Franklin in 2026. What better way to start than to have Lauren Mascitti opening for some legends. Join NBS favorite Bonner Black at her song release show for Honest Woman at the Bowery Vault in East Nashville. This is the first song of an EP release and tour planned later in the year, that NBS is sponsoring. Bonner is a one-of-a-kind, smart/singer/songwriter/birdwatcher/humorist - you just gotta get to know her.

NBS Live is hosting a special private/public event at 1865 Club on our normal first Saturday here, with host April Kry, Kayley Bishop and the amazing Chris Walters. This one is special because we are celebrating Kayley Bishop’s live album release Little Dove - LIve from Nashville (following the release of her single, Beyond the Blue).

The club will be closed to the public and open to patrons and invited guests of NBS and the artists. Invitations will be sent the week of February 9. If you would like to attend and have not received an invitation by Valentines Day, please contact nbs@nashvillebasementstage.com.

This trio of artists have written and played together for a long time and they are bringing their show to Turk’s Lounge for NBS Live! Hall of famer, Joe Spivey, will join them on fiddle as usual at Turk’s. Turk McNamara will appear as a special guest and with another surprise you won’t want to miss. Brett brings his full band and some special guests to The Basement - UPDATE 1/30: DUE TO ICE STORM, POWER OUTAGE - THIS SHOW HAS BEEN MOVED FROM BASEMENT EAST TO THE OG BASEMENT ON 8TH STREET. This venue (East) is one of Nashville’s most iconic music locations - demolished by the tornado in 2020 and reopened even better. Get your tickets starting Fri, Nov 14 at noon for only $12 (plus fee) or a special table seat for a little more (very limited).

The 2020 tornado was one of the reasons we started NBS - to give artists a place to play while things were opening back up.

April invites hit songwriter Tia Sillers to 1865 Club for an intimate songwriters night. Tia won a Grammy for ‘I Hope You Dance’ by Lee Ann Womack and ‘There’s Your Trouble’ by the Dixie Chicks. Also appearing will be special guest Sean Oliu. Free show a VIP seating package are available for those making advance tips and donations.

It’s Aussie Night! Mitch Grainger brings his blues roots vibe to Turk’s Lounge for a night of Aussie rhythm and blues. Troy Kemp brings his crowd pleasing motivation to this Bluebird-style venue. Let’s see if Turk and Joe Spivey can keep up (of course they can). This one will be different folks!

The Woods are a vibey trio with harmonies that draw from The Eagles and a 60’s - 70’s feel that seems current somehow. April Kry is the ‘tiny girl, big voice’ who is picking up her singing and songwriting career with personal stories in that soulful tone she is known for. Tickets are just $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Promoter Gabe Leal in Texas (GL13 Productions) noticed April Kry and Raquel Cole at our show at Turk’s Loung in April and invited April and The Woods to play Dosey Doe Big Barn.

Autumn McEntire is an Oklahoman and niece of country music superstart Reba McEntire. Autumn has written for Lauren Alaina, Ashley McBryde and Reba, as well NBS and Turk's favorite, Mae Estes. Fraser Churchill is a Grammy winning songwriter who has successful cuts with Michael Buble, Mickey Guyton and Walker Hayes, among others.
