Lauren Mascitti continues her six month residency at the world famous Station Inn. It’s Halloween night and the show starts at 9pm - plenty of time to turn off the porch light and go see some live music with Lauren’s full band! Costumes welcome! Our friend Sean ‘Turk’ McNamara will come up and sing a special guest song!

Doors are 7pm and tickets are $25 cash at the door. Great pizza and beer/sodas….and plenty of candy!

Kyndle Wylde and her band will rock the house at Parton’s Live. Come at 6pm for dinner and drinks and see this amazing new venue at the new Dolly Parton SongTeller Hotel in downtown Nashville. This is on Commerce street just one block from Broadway, but is a totally different vibe. You have to experience this whether you live in Nashville or visiting. Parton’s Live is one two stages open to tickets or reservations. Hotel guests have access to the entire facility and will buy tickets so get yours in advance to secure a seat!

Christen is the newest NBS Artist and is releasing her songs from her new album. Jonny is Christen’s producer and has new music coming out. Sean is a fellow UK’er and also has new music coming out. So we thought we would get the friends together and do a full band release show for their new singles.

The Late Great is a hidden cocktail bar and music lounge tucked in the alleyway behind Virgin Hotels Nashville, just steps from Music Row. With lush furnishings, secretive vibes, and live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays, it’s a place where the hits keep coming. It’s the first NBS show at this spot.

It’s hit songwriter month for NBS at Turk’s Lounge.

It has been two years since we have had hit songwriter/producer, Trey Bruce, at Turk’s Lounge. Trey is an Emmy award winner and has written 10 #1 songs and has a catalog of over 500 radio songs. He has written songs for Randy Travis, Carrie Underwood, Richard Marx, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins and many more. In 2023, he released his most recent solo project, “Radio Love War”.

Trey will be joined by Bill DiLuigi. Bill is a hit songwriter on Nashville’s Music Row and a favorite songwriter of Turk’s and NBS Artist, Lauren Mascitti. He is the recipient of The Covenant Award (Canada’s Dove Award). Bill is also a also has over 500 cuts and also has several film and TV placements. In addition to writing for others, released his own singer-songwriter project called “Pennsylvania Avenue.”

They will be joined by Sean ‘Turk’ McNamara and hall of famer, Joe Spivey.

Our good friend Troy Castellano is hosting a fundraiser for Instruments for Education (IFE), called Playing it Forward. He has a star-studded cast of artists performing including Vince Gill. Devon O’Day will be emcee. The event is at the Old Mill Barn at Wagner Berry Farms in Springhill, TN. Tickets are $100 each at the link below. Come support IFE with NBS!

April Kry gained fame as Nashville's Tiny Girl, Big Voice. Her soulful voice caught the attention of music industry greats such as, Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson 5, Nile Rogers, and Enya who she later sang backup for on Live! With Regis & Kelly. She is an original artist member of Nashville Basement Stage and is the most streamed artist on the roster.

Gloria Anderson is a Texas-raised singer/songwriter living in Nashville. As a military brat, she began writing songs while moving around the country. Her talents are on full display in the Lone Star State as Tractor Supply’s Emerging Artist, Texas Songwriter University’s 2026 Ambassador and support for Robert Earl Keen, Jake Worthington, and Jack Ingram.

Chris Walters is the legendary pianist/singer/songwriter and member of the world-famous Time Jumpers Band. He has been band director and toured with legends Barbara Mandrel, Alabama and JD Souther. He is an artist advisor with Nashville Basement Stage, frequently lending his talents to up and coming singer/songwriters.

Other surprises await - including the late night staff jam session, which has been a favorite tradition at these NBS Live events.

NBS is honored to present Bowen*Young - Clare Bowen (Nashville TV’s, Scarlett) and Brandon Young at Franklin Theatre’s songwriter series on September 17, 2026. Clare and Brandon welcome hit songwriters Cale Dodds, Justin Halpin and amazing singer/songwriter, Ryan Kinder at Franklin Theatre. This is the same lineup that sold out the Listening Room in 2025.

Clare and Brandon are coming off their international Nashville Reunion tour, where they packed out venues in the UK and US. Cale and Justin have hundreds of song cuts and sync hits and Ryan Kinder is an amazing songwriter and performer who has played and sold out several NBS events. JUST ANNOUNCED - Sahara Moon and Christen Ball will preview their new album projects. NBS VIP Patrons and donors who contributed to these projects will be offered free admission with a code. See two vocal powershouse NBS artists, Kyndle Wylde and Audra McLaughlin, together at Turk’s Lounge with Turk McNamara and hall of famer, Joe Spivey. We met Audra singing solo on Music Row in 2020 and invited her to our initial NBS artist roster in 2024. We met Kyndle opening for friends at 3rd & Lindsley. Kyndle won CBS Morning’s theme song competition and was a finalist in Lightning 100’s version of battle of the bands. We added her to the NBS artist roster in May 2026.

What attracted us to both Kyndle and Audra was their hard work, dedication and genre-defying vocal performances - whether solo or in a full band setting. Audra is the artist who selflessly introduced NBS to Turk’s Lounge. She is open about her recovery and she has performed for NBS at multiple shows benefitting ‘others’.

August is birthday month for several patrons and friends, so we are inviting all August birthdays to celebrate with us at 1865 Club. This month, host April Kry welcomes the Nashville folk duo, Beck & Call. Becca Bradley and Chris Crump are accomplished musicians on their own and have been performing as a duo since 2022. Kayley Bishop and Lana Scott Beck, both The Voice alums, will be our special guests performing at the break. Make your reservations now for 6:30pm - 7:00pm on RESY (see also the 1865 Club website).

August birthdays (must be 21+ to get in) will get free admission and one free drink from NBS. All other birthdays get free admission and will be given an opportunity to tip the artists generously.

NBS is partnering with Nashville’s independent radio station Lightning 100, FM 100.1, to showcase Christen Ball’s full band Songwriter Night at Living Waters Brewing. Christen has been hosting these free shows for three years. NBS welcomed her as a new artist member this May. Christen is inviting fellow NBS artist, Mitch Grainger, Australia blues/roots artist currenly touring with Randy Houser, to join her. Jenn Bostic and Meagan Allen are also joining Christen.

NBS patrons are stepping up to sponsor the show in partnership with Lightning 100. Larry Florman, on air personality and member of Them Vibes band, is expected to be present to introduce the collaboration with NBS.

Kyndle Wylde is the most recent addition to our NBS artist lineup. She won the CBS Mornings theme competition and was a finalist in Lightning 100’s Music City Mayhem. Kyndle is bringing her full band to the Underdog in East Nashville with Jeff Woods. NBS is sponsoring Kyndle and her band. Tickets are $10 in advance or at the door and seating is limited. Nashville Basement Stage has been invited once again to provide an opener for the Franklin Theatre’s legendary Songwriters Series. Stevenson Everett will be this month’s opener. He is an original NBS Artist member who lately has been writing songs for veterans and children. His catalog is the largest in the NBS lineup and you will hear a few songs that should be on the radio from Stevenson, and then a few #1’s from these legendary songwriters.

Lauren Mascitti and Chris Walters are teaming up to perform their original songs, with Sean ‘Turk’ McNamara, and hall of famer Joe Spivey. Lauren is one of the most in-demand independent artists in Nashville. We are celebrating her recent signing with North Chapel Music with some very special surprise guests. Chris Walters is a legendary piano player/singer-songerwriter/music with the Time Jumpers Band. He is also the former director for Alabama and Barbara Mandrel and a regular at Rudy’s Jazz Club and other venues across Nashville. Joe Spivey is the leader of the Time Jumpers Band and we are honored to have him play with these amazing NBS artists every month.

April welcomes Bri Fletcher and Brailey Lenderman to this month’s NBS Live at 1865 Club. If you have not been, 1865 Club is a velvety speakeasy in midtown. It is perfectly hidden in the basement and around the back of a very chic Airbnb hotel - very much the vibe of Nashville Basement Stage.

One Saturday a month, NBS artist favorite April Kry, hosts other NBS artists, and other talented independent artist guests, for a unique listening experience. The drinks and hors d'oeuvres are special and the sofas and club chairs are as comfy as it gets, but the songs are what makes these shows different. You won’t hear this kind of show on Broadway or in most other venues in town.

The show is free but tips to NBS are encouraged (since we pay the artists). Make your reservations on 1865 Club / RESY system for 6:30-7:30 on Saturday, and arrive early to ensure your reservation is kept. Stay until at least 9 and hang with the artists.

Nashville Basement Stage is sponsoring our first show at The Basement East - East Nashville’s most popular music venue - with Brett Sheroky, Emma Zinck and special guests. The Franklin Theatre has a monthly Songwriters Series with legendary singer/songwriters. In May, Rafe Van Hoy, Kent Blazy, and Victoria Shaw are featured. They have written amazing songs including multiple #1’s for legendary recording artists.

NBS also will sponsor a show with artist advisors in September 2026. If all goes well, Franklin Theatre has invited NBS to do a takeover of their Songwriters Series in November 2026. This is a big deal for NBS and for our artists. More to come!

We are pairing our showstoppers Kayley Bishop and Lauren Mascitti with amazing recording artist, Ryan Kinder, and special guest Chris Walters on keys. This is a big one ya’ll - so big we had to move it to a Thursday. Peytan Porter and Aaron Raitiere have played stadiums with Tim McGraw, Ella Langley and ‘others'. Peytan’s “Therapy” and “Queen of Apalachia” are crushers. Aaron (Go Turtles) has won a Grammy for his songs on “A Star is Born” and swept last years CMAs in almost all song categories for “You Look Like You Love Me”. They will be accompanied by the amazing hall of famer, Joe Spivey and Turk McNamara will join the round!
