Nashville Basement Stage artists take the historic Franklin Theatre stage for November’s FT Songwriter Series. It is an honor and a first for NBS Artists to be featured on this popular monthly hit songwriter round.

The first ever artist in our basement was Elvie Shane. We invited him back for this special evening to host the show. Elvie’s song “My Boy” went to #1 and he was a new artist of the year nominee. He earned critical acclaim for his debut and follow up albums, and he is preparing to release his latest album, returing largely to his indendent songwriting roots.

We also invited La Vie Quartet to accompany Elvie and the NBS Artists. La Vie Quartet is a premier touring string section, currently on tour with Steven Curtis Chapman. This amazing string quartet is led by Gideon Klein, who will put special arrangements of our songwriters together customized for this show specifically at the Franklin Theatre.

NBS artists will be announced soon, and ticketholders are in for a special surprise from a new, unannounced, NBS future artist member.
